- Mango
The Top 1 on the list of Godsends' fave fruits! Why? Because mangoes are indeed delicious and at the same time nutritious. Grown in a lot of places just right here in Cebu. You keep getting a slice within your reach especially after meals and even when it's dried, it's so much more enticing to eat. Godsends JP and Debbie love to eat mango float! ;) - Banana
Aside from it being affordable and having an ample supply, the banana can be enjoyed in different varieties and in a lot of different ways. The sweet ones can be eaten as they are. Then there's banana cue, pinasugbo, banana chips as well as saging linung-ag and saging minatamis. Whether it be for dessert or something to make you full because the-main-meal-left-you-hungry-still, the banana is delicious and nutritious (it's rich in Vitamin B6!) to eat. :D - Melon
The "Oh so nutritious!" fruit. You can't get enough of it especially when it's mixed with condensed milk and ice to make it just the perfect treat on a hot sunny day. We love melon not only in its fruit form but as well as having it as shake (the usual one we buy at Thirsty). The taste and flavor are something which you simply can't forget. - Pineapple
If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, does a pineapple a night keep the doctor out of sight?
We like the pineapple not because it has many so-called eyes, but because it is a good source of Vitamin C. Hehe. It's great to have chunks or slices of it in syrup, and on top of pizza, our favorite being the Hawaiian variety. We also like to drink it in its juice form, which is a healthier alternative to cola. It helps fight against Godsend JP's sinusitis, too! :) - Apple
"An apple a day keeps the doctor away", such a nice reminder to eat apples often. Although Godsend Debbie doesn't really "love" to eat apples, she munches the crispy and juicy ones mainly out of the need. Godsend JP more often brings one to the office to share. - Jackfruit
Locally known as nangka, the jackfruit maybe bulky, but it certainly does not take away the fact that it's juicy and sweet. The seeds are edible and good to eat, too! You may even find this fruit on your turon, halo-halo and other dishes as well. It's not our favorite fruit to carry whole, but bit by bit and bite by bite, the nangka would slowly disappear from your sight to our digestive systems. - Lanzones
The fruit which originally is from Camiguin, the birthplace of Godsend Debbie's mom. You just have to choose the right ones which are grown perfectly in Mambajao to experience the delicious taste of the fruit. We hope to go to Camiguin together one day and have a taste of lanzones there! - Orange
Because Eight O'Clock is our favorite brand of orange juice, we put the orange fruit at #8. It is another fruit with a lot of Vitamin C! We like the really sweet and juicy ones. Among this, ponkan, ukban and other similar fruits, we prefer the orange that's why it sits at this spot. - Chico
The distinct sweet taste of chicos (commonly known as sapodilla) despite its brown color made us include it in our Top 10 fave fruits. It's really good to eat when ripe, aside from being sweet it is very juicy. - Grapes
While Godsend Debbie likes grapes in its original fruit form, Godsend JP eats them but it's not really his "favorite" fruit. However, when Godsend Debbie brings grapes in the form of raisins to share with him, he could no longer stop munching till there's no more left!
